چکیده

Minimum Redundancy Linear Arrays (MRLAs) and Uniform (ULAs) investigation conducted with the possibility of using them in future 5G smart devices. MRLAs are designed to minimize number sensor pairs same spatially correlated delay. It eliminates selected antennas from entire composite antenna array preserves all possible spacing. have attractive features for linear sparse arrays, even if built-in surface is deformed, it works without problems. To our knowledge, not been applied devices so far. In this work, a 7-element ULAs 4-element (same aperture) were used simulation. The Half Power Beamwidth (HPBW) 0.666 Null-to-Null ( ) 1.385 ψ-space. comparison, standard arrays 1.429 3.1416, while 0.801 1.795 respectively. Experimental results show that MLRAs narrower mean beam, much higher sidelobes shallow nulls. Therefore, terms main lobe features, 4- elements an improvement over ULAs. Optimization of Array Factor in Linear Arrays Using Modified Genetic Algorithm

The array factor (sidelobe level, SLL) of a linear array is optimized using modified continuous genetic algorithms in this work. The amplitudes and phases of the currents as well as the separation of the antennas are all taken as variables to be controlled. The results of the design using modified GA versions are compared with other methods. Two design problems were studied using several contin...

Robust Adaptive Beamforming for Wide-Band, Moving, and Coherent Jammers via Uniform Linear Arrays

The problem of providing robustness to the conventional narrow-band uniform linear array configuration so as to handle wide-band and moving jammers is addressed here. This robustness is achieved via the use of derivative constraints in jammer directions. However, since the jammer directions are not known a priori, these constraints are incorporated with a maximum likelihood characterization of ...

A novel acoustic emission beamforming method with two uniform linear arrays on plate-like structures.

A novel acoustic emission (AE) source localization approach based on beamforming with two uniform linear arrays is proposed, which can localize acoustic sources without accurate velocity, and is particularly suited for plate-like structures. Two uniform line arrays are distributed in the x-axis direction and y-axis direction. The accurate x and y coordinates of AE source are determined by the t...
